🧪 What Is Camp Aqua?

Camp Aqua is where science meets splashy summer fun! Hosted by the Shreveport Aquarium, our summer camp program is tailored for young learners eager to dive into the wonders of aquatic life and environmental science. This year, we’re offering:

• Half-day camps for rising 1st–3rd graders

• Full-day camps for rising 4th–7th graders

Whether your child is fascinated by predators, passionate about conservation, or obsessed with sharks, we’ve got a camp that will spark their imagination and curiosity.

🔹 Hungry, Hungry Predators: Unleash the Beast Within

Explore the traits and tools that make top predators the kings and queens of the wild. Campers will investigate camouflage, learn about natural defenses, and take part in thrilling predator-prey games.

🔹 Habitat Heroes: Guardians of the Wild

From coral reefs to mangroves, campers will explore vibrant underwater ecosystems and learn how to protect them. They'll even get the chance to build habitats for real animals at the Shreveport Aquarium!

🔹 Shark Squad: Embrace the Fin-tastic World

Join the squad and dive deep into the world of sharks! Through hands-on experiments and engineering challenges, campers will discover how sharks thrive in the marine food chain and why they’re vital to the ocean’s health.
